In Kaspiysk, Drift Corners were held as part of the league of the Federation of Auto-Sports of Dagestan
To do this, riders gathered not only from the entire corners of the republic, but from the neighboring regions – the Chechen Republic, the Stavropol Territory. The honorary guest of the event was Arkady Tsaregraders – the legend of Russian and world drift, multiple champion of prestigious competitions.
Before starting the competition, demonstrative amateur races took place, within the framework of which everyone was able to hone their skills and test the skills of high -speed turns.
Anyone was able to personally talk and get acquainted with the guest of the Republic Arkady Tsaregradtsev. He tested and tested several machines, among which were as ultra-modern BMW and Mercedes-Benz sports carriers, as the usual drifting, collected by local lovers of this sport.
“The atmosphere and energy in the republic is simply incredible. I am surprised how much the drift is popular in Dagestan and how many experienced riders. I want to thank the federation for this, which makes colossal efforts and conducts a large amount of work for the development of a vehicle culture ”, – said Tsaregraders.
Then the racers, which are in the Federation, began solo and paired races, in which their skill in quickly passing turns, as well as compliance with a minimum distance in mutual races was evaluated.
According to the results of the races, Ruslan Yusupov from Dagestan became the winner, the second place was awarded to the guest from the Stavropol Territory – Azatu Islamov. The racer from the neighboring Chechen Republic Shamil Baudinov won bronze. All of them received diplomas and valuable prizes from sponsors and partners of the Federation.
As the President of the Federation Zaur Ibrahimov said, the holding of such events favorably affects the development of motorsport in the republic, and “hot” youth can always find the opportunity to ride and “let the steam” safely for others.
“We spend training days weekly on Saturday, and at the end of the month such competitions will be held. In addition, in September of this year, the republic will become the center of conducting a unique drift tournament in the country, which will be held inside the stadium. We also discussed the issues of organizing this event with Arkady Tsaregradtsev. We expect an incredible scale for Dagestan , – said President FAMS.
