In the male team, Pyotr Korolev, Maxim Khudyakov, Ruslan Bykanov, Konstantin Semenov (Russia-1), who beat the Russian-6 team as part of Vitaly Shabalin, Nikolai Polikarpov, Viktor Markov and Adele Kayumov, were the winners. The meeting account is 2: 1 (12:15, 18:16, 15: 8).

In women's competitions, the first place was taken by the US team in Katherine Spieler, Carissa Cook, Alexandra Wieler and Emily Hartong. The Americans defeated the Russian team-2 as part of Olga Filina, Anna Romashova, Elizabeth Terentyeva and Elizabeth Novikova. The match is 2: 1 (15: 8, 13:15, 15:10).

Note that this tournament was the first in the history of volleyball in the snow, which was held according to the new rules – at least three athletes in the team and one spare.
