The Pension Fund began to tell the people of Sakhalin about the size of the expected pensions

Since 2022, the Pension Fund has begun to actively inform citizens about pension rights in terms of insurance pensions. Notifications are sent to men from the age of 45 and women from the age of 40 to their personal account on the public services portal, in the future information will be received once every three years, the regional sports ministry told TIA Ostrova.

To date, 3,219 islanders have received data on their current estimated pension. Informing is made on the day when a woman reaches the age of 40 years and a man reaches the age of 45 years.

In the information letter of the PFR, citizens can familiarize themselves with the conditions for acquiring the right to an old-age insurance pension, information about the total duration of the insurance period, and also see the estimated amount of the pension.

Proactive information allows citizens to assess their pension rights in advance and, if necessary, take steps to increase them, clarify periods of service and the amount of pension coefficients, and also learn about the amount of pension savings formed in the Pension Fund.

For citizens who do not have an account on the portal, information is provided in all client services of the Pension Fund of Russia upon personal contact.

Recall that in the Sakhalin Region in 2021, 4,472 of all types of pensions were assigned. Of these, 3,130 are insurance old-age pensions. The rest are for state pensions, including social pensions.
