According to Kurier, on Friday, April 29, the head of the Austrian Football Federation Gerhard Milletich presents the candidacy of the Rangnik to the local presidium. In case of approval of the appointment of a rangnik, it can be announced on the same day. Rangnik himself has already given the go -ahead for a new position.
The rangnik, at the same time, will not leave Manchester United. At the end of the season-2021/22, he will cease to be the head coach, but will continue to work in the club as a consultant at the coaching staff of the Dutch specialist Eric ten Haga, whom Manchester United already officially introduced. “I am more than ready to help Eric and everyone in the club with a change in the situation for the better,” said Rangnik after the appointment of Ten Haga.
The Rangnik stepped on the Manchester United MSU in November 2021, and before that he worked for several months as a director of sports and development of the Moscow Lokomotiv.
