Thus, he wanted to prove that the developers underestimate this tank, and in life it is better than in the game. This was reported by the British magazine PCGAMESN and the UK Defense Journal blog.

How to get around the lock?

The incident occurred at the War Thunder game forum. In it, players can fight on the network on military equipment of different countries from different eras. The forum user, under the name Tidvort, said that the developers are underestimated by Challenger-2. As evidence, he brought scans of the pages of the operating manual for equipment. Part of the pages was edited, a text that did not concern the characteristics of the tank was painted black.

The Tidworth profile at the forum claims that earlier he was an employee of the British Army unit responsible for testing weapons. UK Defense Journal notes that in the British city of Tidvort there is a base of the oldest forming tank troops in the world – the royal tank regiment operating the challengers.

The administration of the forum deleted the document. The moderator later said that the company has a written confirmation of the British Ministry of Defense, that the management remains classified, and his distributors, according to British laws, may threaten up to 14 years in prison. Whether the ministry turned to the company for help to install the author from the forum is not reported.
