Omar Torres (Omar Torrez) -Mexican-American guitarist from Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington. For the first time, he attracted attention to the level of the country as the finalist of the National Gatar competition Jimmy Hendrix at the Bumbershoot historical festival in Seattle. He studied the classic guitar at the University of Western Washington. He also studied the guitar Flmenko and Cuban music.

Omar Torres performs “Music-story”, in which images of bars filled with smoke, musical gatherings in the Mississippi delta, Cuban rumba, and Avant-Funk style arise. He often plays his own original motives. This remarkable multifacetedness once attracted the attention of Tom Waits, the American singer and the author of the songs, the composer and actor who chose Omar with his guitarist for the famous 2008 tour “Glitter and Doom” in the USA, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, France, Ireland and France, and France, Ireland and Great Britain. Since then, the most diverse experience has been captured in his music, thanks to which he became such a diverse performer that it is rare for a modern scene. Torres participated in joint projects with such musical giants as: Kinky, The Buena Vista Social Club, Jethro Tull, Pancho Sanchez, Susana Baca, Mumiy Tall, Francisco Aguabella and Viola Trigo, as well as with many alternative musicians. But, first of all, Omar is a composer and author of songs. He performs mainly his own music.

The traps performs Mexican songs – in its processing – at every concert. The technique of playing a guitar in the style of flamenco and Afro-Mexican songs is constantly manifested through a musical outline of performance, along with a virtuoso game in the best traditions of Jimmy Hendrix (Jimi Hendrix) and Paco de Lucia.

The concert takes part:
