With an equal game, where both Mikhailov and Moroz could not easily pass the opponent's block, it was the Kemerovo diagonal who said his weighty word. His two single blocks after Anderson's attacks from the 4th zone led to the fact that Kuzbass was the leader in the first technical break – 8:6. Andrae received three goals in a row in attack from various situations, whether it was a takedown or a replay. The German managed to score two of them, but the third flew far out of bounds.
