The British satellite platform Sky UK has finished broadcasting two music channels that were available over the Christmas period. We are talking about Now Christmas and MTV Xmas stations. Now Christmas was broadcast in the FTA version, and MTV Xmas was encoded in VideoGuard and available exclusively to subscribers of the Sky UK platform.

The NOW Christmas and MTV Xmas channels focused on holiday hits and video clips. NOW Christmas appeared on satellite on November 21, 2013, and MTV Xmas 4 days earlier.

After the hiatus , the stations returned to their original names , NOW Music and MTV Classic , as well as standard themes . NOW Music is a music channel that recently launched in the UK through Universal Music and Sony Music. It is available for Sky UK subscribers (channel 378) and Freesat (channel 512). MTV Classic is the channel of the MTV group, which specializes in the music of the last century.

HD+: Sport1 HD on new transponder at 19.2°E

The high definition version of the German sports channel Sport1 (formerly DSF) has started broadcasting on a new transponder on the Astra 2C satellite (19.2°E).

Residents of Greece will again pay for TV
