Sambists of Chuvashia successfully perform at the junior championship of Russia in Kstovo

The first in 2022, a large junior competition gathered in Kstovo Nizhny Novgorod Region more than 300 athletes from 40 regions of Russia. Within three days, on the basis of the World Sambo Academy, they will play 16 sets of medals.

It is gratifying to note that according to the results of the first day of the competition in the medal piggy bank of the Chuvashia team, one gold and two bronze awards. Sofya Emelyukova, who defeated the athlete from the Sverdlovsk region, Ekaterina Khasanova, celebrated a well -deserved victory in the weight category of 50 kg. Based on the results of the fights, Sofya became part of the national team for European Cups in Minsk (February 11-14), in Kazan (October 8-11) and Romania (December 8-12) 2022.
